This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Wife said the Nutty Bowl was “bussin” and later mentioned it was an “11/10” …she added strawberry, pineapple, and extra peanut butter… 😊 I myself, ordered the Morning Glory Wrap. I have Celiac Disease, so it was cool to see so many Gluten-Free options available! The staff were super friendly and helpful! They recommended what the locals often add to the wrap, their delicious steak! 🤩

I have been coming to the Vitality Bowls in Modesto since they opened in 2023, and have had nothing short of fantastic experiences with the staff and high quality, delicious food! The store is always incredibly clean, sanitary, and put together. Everyone is so friendly and thoughtful in all of my interactions, which is why I keep coming back and always will! Can't recommend them enough if you're looking for fresh, nutritious food paired with a staff that puts kindness and customer care first. I added a photo of my go to bowl, YUM! 😍

UPDATE: Just to be clear the "Owner" replied to my comment with misguided information in an attempt to undermine my experience at their establishment to which I may have returned had they approached the situation with respect and consideration. Just because one employee changed their gloves before handling my sandwich does not negate the employee mentioned who did multiple tasks with the SAME pair of unchanged gloves including answering the phone handling the doors and touching the trash while prepping/ preparing ingredients in their kitchen. As a professional chef of TWENTY FIVE YEARS, I understand how unsanitary and dangerous it is for staff to ignore their serve safe responsibilities. That being said, my HONEST review remains the same. I walked in and nobody was up front. Given it was 9:30 in the morning, I gave it a few MOMENTS***(my previous word used was a mistype as my review was posted while in a rush returning before my break was over) as I could see they were prepping in the back through the window. I made eye contact with several people and still no one came to the front in a hurry. At a glacier speed someone finally came to the front. I ordered the power panini with a

My first time going to Vitality Bowl, I was immediately impressed by the top-notch food and drink options. The inside is beautifully designed to wait to order and or dine in. The Green Glow Bowl, Purple Passion Smoothie, and Vitality Bowl with peanut butter was delicious and the serving size was generous🔥! The owner’s and son come to find out, provided excellent customer service, greeting me warmly with a smile. Thank you for a great experience!

This was my first time to this store. I really like the ambience in there. It felt relaxed and friendly. The workers were all very accommodating and nice. I went with a nutty bowl they have three sizes small medium and large. I went with the medium, which was plenty after my work out Portion size was good and the price was right. It had tons of flavor and I would definitely get it again. They have a hot menu where you can also get warm food as well. I would be down to try that someday.
